Brush Site:
The City’s Brush Site is located behind the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant off of Jackson St. It is open during Business Hours, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and open all weekend.
The Site is available for brush disposal only. The City only accepts brush that is less than 6″ wide and less than 6′ long. The Site is monitored for compliance. Non-compliance may result in a fine for illegal dumping.
Compost Site:
The City’s compost site is located off Old Darlington Road in a former Quarry. It is open at all times.
The Site is available for yard waste, leaves, and other compostable materials. Materials should be clean of plastic, asphalt, or other non-compostable materials. The Site is monitored for compliance. Non-compliance may result in a fine for illegal dumping.
