Beginning this weekend, the City of Mineral Point’s brush site, located behind the wastewater treatment plant, will be open on the weekends through the fall. The site will be open during regular business hours on Friday, and remain open until the end of regular business hours at 3:30 pm on Mondays. The site will be closed during the evenings of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 

The Brush site is for residents and Mineral Point property owners only. Only woody brush can be taken to the site. Users are asked to be respectful by only taking authorized materials to the site and keeping the site clean and organized. 

Unauthorized waste dumping and activities may result in the site once again being limited to only being open during regular hours during the week. 

The City’s Compost site on Old Darlington Road will remain open.
