The 100 Block of High Street, between Vine St. and Chestnut St. will be closed to traffic and parking on Monday, August 25, for the installation of the Opera House Marquee. Because of the size of the marquee and the equipment needed to install it, it was determined that, for safety reasons, the entire block will need to be closed to traffic and parking. Installation will begin first thing in the morning. The installers will work diligently to reopen the street as quickly as possible to traffic and parking as soon as it is safe to do so. Sign Art is hopeful that the sign will be installed before the end of the workday and the street will be reopened by 4:00 or 5:00 pm. If things go well, the street will be opened sooner.
