Mineral Point Police Department Seeking Information: September 11, 2020   The Mineral Point Police Department has received a rash of complaints regarding the removal or destruction of campaign signs from private property.    The removal or destruction of property belonging to another is a crime.  The Police Department is actively pursuing those responsible.  Anyone with information on this or any other crime is asked to contact this department at 608-987-2313.   Robert P. Citizens /Police Advisory Committee

Mission: The committee serves as a liaison between the police department and the community. The committee mediates problems or conflicts and serves as an advocate for programs, ideas, and methods to improve the relationship between the police and community. The committee is also responsible for disseminating information to the community and to the government officials of Mineral Point. As an advisory committee to City Council, the primary function is to make recommendations to the City Council and act as a source of citizen information.
