Mission: Administrative agency which acts in a quasi-judicial capacity, whose powers and duties are set forth in the City Building and Zoning Regulations. These Regulations authorize the Board to hear and decide appeals for variances from the provisions of the regulations within the extraterritorial zoning district (ETZ).

Term: 3 years

Members:  The Mayor shall appoint five (5) members. Those members shall be comprised of one (1) ETZ Committee Member & Plan Commission Member, one (1) registered architect, registered professional engineer, builder, or real estate appraiser, and three (3) citizens.
