Ordinance Committee

Mission: The Ordinance Committee oversees the update and maintenance of the City Ordinances as well as reviews claims against the City.

Meeting: Scheduled meetings will be on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 5:00 p.m.

Term: 1 year

Members: The Mayor shall appoint three (3) members and one (1) alternate while filling the position of the chair.

Tasks include:

  • Advises the council as to ordinances and amendments.
  • Reviews and monitors strategy for litigation and settlement of claims, makes recommendations to the Council and provides information regarding claims, procedures, litigation management and claims loss ratios.
