The Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) is sending an informational mailing to approximately 2.6 million WI voters today. The political parties and other organizations have also been sending out mailers that include absentee ballot applications, registration applications and postcards, etc.
- If you have already requested an absentee ballot (for either the November election or the whole calendar year 2020), you 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 need to send an application in again.
- If you have 𝗡𝗢𝗧 requested an absentee ballot for November (or the calendar year 2020) and would like to, you can fill out the absentee ballot request form and mail it back, but you 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 include a copy of a valid photo ID!
- If you are already registered and nothing has changed (ie: name or address), you do 𝗡𝗢𝗧 need to fill out the registration form.
- If you have recently moved or changed your name and need to register to vote, please bring the registration form along with proof of residence and a photo ID to City Hall so we can assist with getting you registered.
** Effective July 29, 2020: Voters must have resided at their current address for 28 consecutive days prior to election day in order to register at that address. Voters who do not meet the 28-day requirement at their new address are eligible to participate at their former address.
